Principal and Chief Investment Officer

Mark, Principal and Chief Investment officer at F.E. Forbes Company. With over 40 years of experience, he oversees all aspects of Company’s residential and commercial real estate financing, investor trust deed investments, and loan servicing operations. He also leads the Company investment real estate asset property management and development groups.

Mark is active in several professional organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for California Mortgage Association, member California Association Mortgage Professionals – East Bay chapter, BAMA – Bay Area Mortgage Association, City of Berkeley Commissioner for Small Business Loan Administration, and past President Berkeley Lions Club. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker in the State of California, with the NMLS endorsement.

He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and enjoys golf, boating, and collecting and restoring antique cars. He and his wife also enjoy spending time with their two grown children.
